Welcome to Jixemitri Circle Writing Challenge #19--Wendy and Dana's VTC Writing Challenge!
Those folks at Trixie Camp aren't the only ones who get to have fun this year! Those of us near a computer can take part, too. One of the activities at Trixie Camp this year will be something very similar to this challenge, so we wanted you guys to have the opportunity to participate, too. And we hope a lot of you will!
So, what's the challenge?
The challenge, should you choose to accept it, is to write a short story this weekend to supplement the stories that will be coming out of Trixie Camp! And there's only one thing you need to do--
Write a story of no more than 2,500 words by Sunday, August 3, 2008, and include the following elements:
A Carriage
Miss Nonsense of America
Magnifying Glass
Umbrella
The Water Witch
A Ball
A Diamond Ring
Bonus points if you include a scavenger hunt in the story!
That's all there is to it--now don't you want to play? *g*
If you don't have your own website to host your story, no worries! The story can be hosted here at the challenge website. All you need to do is contact Dana by e-mail to set it up. One caveat: Dana will have no Internet access on Friday, August 1, and sporadic access on Saturday and Sunday, August 2 and 3. She will answer all inquiries by Sunday, though. Promise! When you send the e-mail, just attach your story in a Word document, and she will take care of the rest.
