And I HATE every last one. I have a feeling this year is NOT going to go well. *sigh*

Eek!! Well, the point of it is to get words on paper (or screen), not to like the words. So, I think you're doing just fine!!
Oh, I'm sorry, sweetie!!
But 824 words is 824 words! And it's only day 1! Hang in there, baby!!
(((HUGS)))
You can delete up to all of those words later. For now, just remember that you have 824 words and that's a good start.
Cheering you on from the sidelines! :)
I'll echo what everybody else has said. Plus, you didn't even start until Nov. 2 last year, so you're 824 words ahead of your pace from last year. I hope tomorrow's better for you.

Thanks for the support guys. I am trying to be positive, but last year I had characters talking to me. Cassie is being completely SILENT. ARGH!!!!
Maybe Cassie needs some questions to answer.
* What does she want?
* What's keeping her from getting it?
* How's she going to get around the obstacle?
* When, where and how will this task be done?
Hope she becomes more talkative! If not, send her on a scavenger hunt and ask her to describe each location. Or maybe someone talkative will call her or show up on her doorstep unannounced. Or, hey, maybe she's driving somewhere and this ambulance comes screeching down the road...
(I'll stop yakking now!)
No, don't stop yakking, Leigh - you know I love your suggestions! Fortunately, Cassie and her two friends, Gabi and Rachel, both started talking to me today and I feel much better.
And, ironically, there was an ambulance - or a description of a ride in one - in what I just wrote! :)
