That is the number of words I wrote yesterday - a 2005 NaNo record. The most I'd written in any one day so far was 2,827. Actually, if you count all of the words I wrote for my meeting summary, it was quite the banner day. I just had to be a geek and go check out what I wrote for the summary yesterday - 2,624. So, my actual word count for the day was 6,986.

Have I mentioned how much I wish I could add my work words to my NaNo word count?

Who says you can't? Just have one of your characters stand up and say, "Oh, and by the way, I attended this meeting yesterday, and..."
**cut and paste**
"...and boy am I glad that's over with!"
Voila!
