Counting Down

Here was my inspirational email to my regional Wrimos. I hope it is, in fact, inspirational.

[NaNoWriMo: Michigan::Tri-Cities] Ready, set, WRITE!

Hello Fellow Wrimos!

We are but a few hours away from a glorious November...I can feel it! Right now in some parts of the world and soon in ours, thousands upon thousands of people are or will be sitting down and letting their creative juices flow. With all of that creativity flowing out into the world, we can't help but be inspired. It doesn't matter if you have no clue what you're going to write or if you're armed to the teeth with outlines, character sketches, or that little thing we call a plot, sit, take a deep breath, and inhale all of that creativity. Let it fill you! You can do this!

Like E.L. Doctorow once said, "Writing a novel is like driving a car at night. You can see only as far as your headlights, but you can make the whole trip that way."

We can make the whole trip that way, and we will! Whether we write 50 words or 50,000, we're winners because we contributed to that flow of creativity.

Get ready, get set...WRITE!

Have a great November everybody!

I love that quote! I have to put that somewhere!

Good luck for tomorrow! :)

(Too bad we can't count our Supernatural Reality story toward our word count, huh? *G*)

It is a fantastic quote, isn't it? I *had* to use it. If we posted "Catch me if you Can" on November 1st, it counts, right? *g*

Good luck on your 2400/day goal, sweetie. I know you did awesome your first day. Go you!

Thanks, sweetie!!

And well, I think it has to be written not posted. *grin*

But I will persevere!

At least for now. *grin*
